What is VivereX® – and how does it work?
- The VivereX® system is a modern treatment for wounds, also known as negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT).
- It consists of a small, lightweight pump connected to an absorbent dressing with a gentle adhesive silicone contact layer.
- The pump is programmed to apply a predefined negative pressure to the wound surface.
- This negative pressure helps remove excess wound fluid (exudate) from the wound environment.
- Removal of exudate increases blood flow and accelerates wound healing.
